The Boondock Billies are Grant Harp on acoustic guitar, harmonica and vocals, Wade "Tater" Ralls on upright bass and vocals, and Bobby Taylor on banjo, dobro and vocals. Wade plays a 1947 Kay bass that evokes a great old tone and Grant plays an antique guitar on some songs. The band has been turning out good shows in Southern Illinois for the past few years and have really progressed with the addition of Bobby on banjo. The boys have also played in Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Wyoming, and North Carolina. The Boondock Billies have new original songs in the classic style of old time country, bluegrass, Americana, and are getting ready to get in the studio soon to record the debut CD.
